Low humidity and sunny skies will continue to be in control today and tomorrow before some changes come Sunday.
This Afternoon: Mostly Sunny and Warm
Highs: Mid to Upper 70s | Wind: NE 4-8 m.p.h.
Tonight: Mostly Clear and Cool
Lows: Mid 40s to Low 50s | Wind: NE 4-8 m.p.h.
Saturday: Mostly Sunny and Warm
Highs: Around 80 | Wind: NE 5-10 m.p.h.
High pressure will allow for sunny skies, light winds and comfortable conditions with highs in the mid to upper 70s this afternoon. Dew points will continue to be low in the 40s making for very low humidity. Tonight will be on the cool side with lows in the mid 40s in the suburbs to lower 50s inside the Beltway. Saturday will be just about perfect with highs around 80 degrees under sunny skies. Humidity will continue to be low.
A few changes are possible on Sunday as a coastal system slips just off the east coast. This will result in a few added clouds by Sunday afternoon and possibly even the chance for a few sprinkles late in the day. At this time we think the majority of the precipitation should hold off until the beginning of next week. Highs on Sunday should reach the upper 70s.
If you are heading to the beaches, be sure to bring something warm as highs are only forecast to reach the upper 60s under partly cloudy skies Saturday and mostly cloudy skies Sunday. Winds will also be breezy out of the northeast around 10 to 20 mph.
