Storms will continue to develop this evening as an area of low pressure moves into the region.

Tonight: Showers & Storms End, Patchy Fog

Lows: 60s | Wind: SW 3-5 m.p.h.

Wednesday: Partly Cloudy & Warm, Stray PM Storms

Highs: Low 80s | Wind: SW 5-10 m.p.h.

Thursday: Mostly Sunny & Comfortable

Highs: Upper 70s | Wind: N 5-10 m.p.h.

An area of low pressure moving through a very warm and humid air mass is causing a few pop up showers and thunderstorms that will continue in spots through this evening. Otherwise, we expect a mild and muggy night with areas of fog. Tomorrow will feature more sunshine than we have seen in a couple days along with afternoon temperatures in the lower 80s. Later tomorrow afternoon there will be a 30% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms as a cold front crosses the area.

Behind the front, much drier air will move into the region. We are forecasting mostly sunny weather on Thursday and Friday with low humidity levels and highs in the upper 70s. Right now, the weekend outlook is pretty nice, as well. Skies should be mostly sunny on Saturday and partly cloudy on Sunday. High temperatures both days will be around 80 degrees.
