Winds will subside some tonight and with clear skies, temperatures will become quite chilly by morning…in the lower 40s in some areas. Friday will be sunny and breezy again but temperatures will be somewhat milder. Highs will reach the middle 70s in most areas.
Saturday will be mostly sunny and even warmer as westerly winds will boost afternoon temperatures into the upper 70s. On Sunday, Mother’s Day, temperatures will once again approach the 80 degree mark. Skies will be mostly sunny through mid-day but there will be some increase in afternoon cloudiness. There will even be a slight chance for a few showers to develop west of the Blue Ridge later in the afternoon. By Monday and Tuesday, another slow moving cold front will increase the chance of rain throughout our entire region.
