Low level winds continue to flow from the Atlantic Ocean and into our area. The result is the continuation of mainly cloudy skies. In this pattern we can expect to see only glimpses of sunshine and a few sprinkles at times. High temperatures will wind up around 70s degrees. As the winds become southerly tomorrow, conditions will start to change. Especially with the approach of an area of low pressure and a frontal zone approaching from the west. High temperatures will be well into the 70s tomorrow and Wednesday but there will also be increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms.
On Thursday and Friday, drier air will return to the region. Skies will be parlty cloudy and temperatures will be in the seasonable range of the low to mid 70s. Over the Mother's Day Weekend weather conditions look pretty good to me. Mostly sunny skies with highs in the 70s. Of course, it is only Monday and things could change. But at the present time, the weekend weather pattern looks very good to me.
