It was a gray and drizzly start to our Sunday with an easterly breeze and stratus clouds obscuring views of that Super Moon! Drier air and clearer skies to our north are struggling to erode the lingering cloudiness. Peeks of sunshine are possible this afternoon as the mercury rises to near 70, making for a much cooler day than Saturday's 83. More appreciated is the lower humidity; dew points have dropped 5-8 degrees below yesterday's sultry air.
As high pressure departs tomorrow, a succession of warm and cold fronts through midweek will create unsettled weather. Mostly cloudy days and periods of rain, some of them heavy, are likely through Wednesday. Thereafter, clearer skies and milder days will finish out the week. It could even be cool enough to the north and west on Thursday evening for frost advisories. For most areas though, putting in the tomato plants is now a pretty safe bet! Enjoy your Sunday
