The next time Venus will transition in front of the sun will be 2117. Chances are if you are here when that happens, you're not alive yet. Who knows, maybe I can make it to 134 years old... Since clouds really ruined D.C. area skywatchers last night, many took to TV and the internet to see the spectacle.

Here's a picture taken by one of our viewers showing the transit through the clouds. I really wish it would have cleared out, but I guess we can wait until next time! It's ok, Mercury transits the sun in 4 years, so at least we have that to look forward to!
