The dome of hot air continues to build over us.  High today 98° almost a record.  Check out the heat hourly index.  This satellite picture shows hardly any clouds in the east and the building ridge with subsidence will continue to build the heat with some spots approaching 100 tomorrow.  A cool front will push through Friday afternoon with showers and thunderstorms and bring back more "reasonable, seasonable" air for the weekend but some dangerous heat before then.
