Mainly clear skies are expected overnight with temperatures dropping into the 50s and lower 60s. Winds will diminish slightly. Father's Day Sunday will be mostly to partly sunny with afternoon highs near 80 degrees. A weak disturbance has the potential to bring scattered showers Sunday night and into Monday.

Look for a noticeable change in temperature and humidity levels by Tuesday as high pressure builds just off the coast. Highs by Wednesday will flirt with the mid 90s along with heat indices near 100 in the District. The hot weather will continue until Friday.
