High pressure is in the driver’s seat. This strong atmospheric pattern will keep weather conditions dry and comfortable for the next 4 or 5 days before the summertime heat and humidity return to the region. Over the next couple days, winds will be flowing from the northeast. This wind vector in the month of June keeps temperatures just a bit cooler than normal. A change in the wind direction over the weekend will start a slow but steady warming trend. Our forecast through next Wednesday calls for partly to mostly sunny skies without any mention of rain.
