Welcome to summer in Washington, I mean really?! It kicked off last night at 7:09PM and boy, could we tell! Highs yesterday peaked in the upper 90s and today we will reach around 100°. What makes it worse is the continued high humidity. Tomorrow brings the threat of some scattered thundershowers, possibly strong to severe, with hail and gusty winds a threat through the afternoon. This will hold the mercury back in the lower 90s – but still hot. The weekend will be partly to mostly sunny and not as hot with upper 80s expected both days and noticeably less humidity. Stay cool it is rough out there!
