The excessive heat arrives today. The excessive humidity will arrive tomorrow and last through the weekend and perhaps even longer. The next few days will feature isolated thunderstorms. So you will not only need to plan on how you will cope with the oppressive conditions but also keep alert to any potential threat from developing thunderstorms. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the beaches will be a bit cooler. Highs will be in the upper 80s but there will also be daily thunderstorm chances.
