An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect until 9pm tonight. Heat index values may exceed 110 degrees.

The next few days will be uncomfortably hot and humid, at best. Highs will be in the upper 90s to near 100 degrees but it will feel even warmer. There will also be daily chances for thunderstorms, While an isolated storm could pop during the afternoon, the better chances will be for evening and night time storms and some could be strong to severe. The excessive heat will continue through Monday.
