Do you miss those hot and humid days with temperatures around 90 degrees? Be patient…that kind of weather will return to the area by Sunday. In the meantime, I hope you are enjoying this unseasonably cool weather that contributed to a picture perfect weekend. The early June chill will continue a bit longer as an area of low pressure, anchored over New England, will sit and spin and direct a northerly air flow across our area. This is why temperatures are so much cooler.
That area of low pressure will also cause little bits and pieces of energy to get caught up in the circulation and will give us low end chances of a few sprinkles or random showers for the next few days. High temperatures will be about 10 degrees below average tomorrow and will slowly moderate during the rest of the week. It appears it will take until Friday for high temperatures to get back up to the 80 degree mark.
