A disturbance will approach from the south today bringing added clouds and the chance for a few thunderstorms out towards the Shenandoah Valley. Highs will still be hot in the upper 80s. Tonight, showers and storms will become likely as the front moves overhead. Tuesday will feature a good chance for showers and storms throughout the day with areas of heavy rain possible as well. Highs tomorrow will only manage to reach the low 80s.
With the following cold front pushing through Tuesday night, Wednesday looks pleasant with partly cloudy skies and less humidity with highs in the mid 80s. An easterly flow may set up on Thursday returning the cloud cover and the chance for some drizzle but Friday into the weekend looks nice with highs in the low 80s under partly cloudy skies.
