A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the greater D.C. area. through 9 p.m. Friday.
A cold front will move across the region later today which will work to develop showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, some of the storms that form could produce heavy downpours and gusty winds. The front will move east overnight allowing slightly less-humid and modestly cooler air to push into the Mid-Atlantic for Saturday and Sunday. Scattered showers and storms are once again possible on Monday with another weather disturbance, noticeably cooler weather will push into the Mid-Atlantic Tuesday.
Look for clouds and an isolated morning shower at the DELMARVA Beaches tomorrow, sunshine and high temperatures in the lower 80s; sunshine with temperatures near 80° on Sunday. Enjoy!
