July will go out with a bit of an "average" day after setting several records (like 4 100º days in a row) and becoming the second July in a row more than 4º hotter than average. This will be the 2nd hottest month in Washington weather records. A general summery pattern continues into August and while we may not reach 90 today, more 90s will be back by late in the week. A few later afternoon showers or thundershowers as yesterday. Hey it's almost August.
