Yes it did get to 100° The high of 100° missed the record of 102° but this is now ties us for the third highest number of 100° days. Tomorrow if we hit 100° (it will be close) we will tie for the 2nd greatest. The summer of 1930 will still stand alone with 11 100° days. A cool front will bring relief later in the week but as tht gets close, it will also trigger thunderstorms late tomorrow and again Thursday. The good news, in addition to the heat relief is some needed rain. Look how much rain may fall during the next 3 days. Possibly about 1" of rain !! Conditions sure dry around here and we can use the rain but nothing like the terrible drought that continues in the Midwest. Indianapolis still has had only 0.09" of rain since June 1. Heat Advisory for tomorrow then relief even if it means some strong thunderstorms
