No records today, but it did get to 100 degrees at Reagan National.  This was the 7th 100° this month.  The highest number of 100° in 1 month in DC weather records.  Some of the leftover severe storms from earlier today will still give us some showers and T'showers in the DC metro area. The weather front in New York will be near us Friday and Saturday and with it, the risk of some strong to severe thunderstorms both days.  By late Saturday winds turn into the northwest and less humid air pushes in so Sunday into Monday, another break from this searing heat.
