Another day of relief. Only 1 week ago we were heading into 4 100º days in a row and one of the hottest days in Washington. My blog about how last week stacked up to other great heat waves in DC. As we move into the weekend a typical pattern for mid-summer begins to show itself as high pressure builds off the coast-a "Bermuda High" and winds turn into the southwest and temperatures by Sunday and next week soar back into the low and mid 90s with the sticky humidity back along with the risk of afternoon thunderstorms. Enjoy this great break through tomorrow.
