Text size Decrease Increase

Tonight: Mild & Muggy

Lows: Upper 60s to Low 70s | Wind: SE 5 m.p.h.

Tuesday: Partly Cloudy With A Chance of PM T'storms

Highs: Middle 80s | Precipitation: 40%

Wednesday: Partly Cloudy, Warmer, And More Humid; Chance PM T'storms

Highs: Around 90 degrees | Precipitation: 40%

As high pressure moves out of the area, isolated showers and thunderstorms have started to pop up but they will remain quite isolated in coverage through this evening. Easterly winds will keep high temperatures no higher than the middle 80s tomorrow. A more southerly wind on Wednesday will push temperatures back to the 90 degree mark. During both days, scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible as the region will be influenced by an upper level area of low pressure extending through the mid-Atlantic. By Thursday and Friday, that upper level feature will drift just far enough to reduce the likelihood of rain. With increasing amounts of sunshine, high temperatures will climb into the lower and middle 90s.
