Finally, the heat wave has come to an end. After four days of temperatures above 100 degrees and 11 days at or above 90 degrees, cooler (yet still warm) air is on the way. Showers and thunderstorms will diminish, but a few may remain during the overnight hours. Temperatures will fall into the 70s. Monday will bring highs in the 80s with a chance for a few storms.
