Not as hot as yesterday but relief ahead

This Afternoon: Sunny, Hot and Humid Thunderstorms developing late afternoon

Highs: 90-95 | Rain: 70% Chance T'storms this evening

Tonight: Storms Ending Warm and Humid Again

Lows: 74-81 | Wind: Light

Friday: Mostly Cloudy, Not as Hot, More Showers and T'showers

Highs: 84-89 | Rain: 70% Chance

At least we won't see the temperature above 100º today.  But the heat and humidity is still with us until a cool front moves across the area late Friday.  Once again later this afternoon thunderstorms are likely to fire up and move across the metro area this evening.  Keep an eye on live Doppler and if anything really gets dangerous, we'll be live blogging as yesterday.  Check out that blog.  By tomorrow a weak wave passes to our north then the cool front slides across just in time for the weekend and some relief from this heat and humidity.  But the front will probably hang up near us so that means more clouds around for the weekend than the way things looked a couple of days ago.  Also more likely now to have showers and clouds at the beaches.  Full beach forecast coming up later this afternoon and at 5 and 6 on 7.
