As a warm front approaches the area, we will continue to see areas of cloudiness and isolated sprinkles and showers.High pressure will set up shop just south and east of Washington and steadily pump very warm and humid air across the area. High temperatures will reach the middle to upper 80s today, around 90 degrees tomorrow and into the 90s on Sunday and straight through next week. In the hot and humid air mass, daily thunderstorms are likely.

While it will be hot and humid, temperatures and heat index values WILL NOT be at the levels we experienced last week.There will be some sunshine at the beaches this weekend. Perhaps less sunshine tomorrow and a bit more on Sunday. High temperatures will be in the 80s.
