Fortunately, this present seige of hot and humid weather will end by Friday. In the meantime though, we will have to navigate through two more uncomfortable outdoor weather days.Showers and thunderstorms should be suppressed by high pressure today. But storm chances will slowly increase through the day tomorrow into tomorrow night. On Thursday, a cold front will cross the area with good chances of scattered showers and thunderstorms.

By Friday, cooler and less humid air will move into the region. We are forecasting high temperatures to reach 85 degrees on Friday. Our current weekend weather outlook calls for partly cloudy skies with highs in the middle 80s on Saturday and upper 80s on Sunday.

Today will mark the 11th time this year the high temperature has been 95 degrees or higher.
