A southwest flow combined with plenty of sunshine will bring temperatures back to the century mark on Thursday (for the 8th time this summer), likely breaking a few records (see below). Increasing humidity will make it feel like 105-110 degrees. Therefore, a heat advisory is in effect. Thunderstorms with damaging winds will ramp up in coverage across the eastern Ohio Valley with a few possibly making it into our area late in the day, especially in northern Maryland. There is a better risk for thunderstorms Friday as the front nears. The front will barely make it through Friday, bringing a return to less humid weather Saturday, however, storm chances linger into the first half of the weekend, but Sunday is looking nice Have a great day!
