Yesterday we hit 100° at Reagan National Airport marking the 7th time we have hit 100+ this month and 8th time this year. With the cold front to our north today, we will sweat through another hot and steamy day with highs in the mid 90s. There will be a chance of more gusty storms, especially in the afternoon/evening as the cold front draws closer. The front will finally sag through the area tomorrow with more thunderstorms. Ahead of the front will be more soupy weather with highs in the low 90s. Behind the front, however, our winds will become northwesterly, inviting cooler and more pleasant weather into the region to end the weekend. Under plenty of sunshine, highs Sunday will hold in the upper 80s. Have a great weekend!
