Flash Flood Watch from Noon through this evening for the entire listening area
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the entire D.C. area through this evening. Showers are beginning to enter the D.C. area as of Noon and will continue to move east through the afternoon hours. Some may be moderate to heavy at times. Highs today should reach the mid to upper 80s. Tonight will continue to see a chance for some lingering showers and storms, otherwise it will be mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s.
The weekend ahead will feature cloudy and cooler conditions tomorrow with highs around 80 degrees. There is a chance for a few showers through the day on Saturday. Sunday should finally dry out a bit with highs in the mid 80s under partly sunny skies.
