D.C. Weather Forecast: Heat and storms in the forecast
Tonight: Mostly Clear and Muggy
Lows: 70s | Wind: Light
Tuesday: Mostly Sunny, PM Storms Possible
Highs: Low 90s | Precipitation: 30%
Wednesday: Partly Cloudy, PM Storms
Highs: Low to Mid 90s | Precipitation: 50%
Another hot day around the area with temperatures in the 90s BUT humidity levels are somewhat lower. That interesting little fact won’t matter much to the hundreds of thousands of people still without power. Only an isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible through this evening. Tomorrow will be quite similar to today temperature-wise but just a touch more humid with a little better chance of afternoon thunderstorms.
On Wednesday, the Fourth of July, it will be hot and more humid with a 40% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. We are hopeful that any shower of storm activity will end before fireworks time just after sunset. Even hotter weather will move in on Thursday, Friday and Saturday as the mercury heads back through the middle and upper 90s.
