Highs: Mid 90s | Wind: W 10-15 m.p.h.
Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Breezy and Less Humid

Today will feature partly sunny skies and the chance for a few thunderstorms. Some of them may be strong to severe with damaging winds and large hail. At this time, I think the main threat will be south and west of D.C. but we'll be sure to keep you updated if more storms develop closer to the D.C. Metro. Timing would put storms in the region from 3pm to 8pm. High temperatures should reach near the mid 90s.
Tonight, storms will come to an end and lows will fall into the 60s in the suburbs to near 70 in town. High pressure will move overhead Wednesday making for sunny skies and "cooler" temperatures in the upper 80s. Thursday appears to be the hottest day of the week with highs back near 100 degrees. Friday will also be hot with highs in the mid 90s along with a chance for storms.
