We didn't make it to 90° today and I think highs will again be below the 90 degree mark on Tuesday.  A few pop up thundershowers developed on Live Doppler through the afternoon and evening, but should all fizzle out overnight.  Temperatures tonight will be seasonable in the upper 60s to low 70s.  An area of storminess over North Carolina will move Northeast and could bring a few more chances for showers and thunderstorms tomorrow and Wednesday.  The first few days of August will be hot and humid with highs in the low to mid 90s.
