During the middle of July, it can become uncomfortably hot and humid around here. The weather for the next few days will prove that. But a cold front will deliver noticeably cooler air by the end of the week. Now the details... High pressure will cause the increase in temperatures and humidity levels today, tomorrow and Wednesday. Highs will push through the mid 90s today and upper 90s on Tuesday and Wednesday. A cold front will cross the region late Wednesday or early Thursady. Before then, thunderstorm activity will be sparse. But with the front, showers and thunderstorms will become more likely.
By Thursday, even with a few lingering storms, high temperatures will start to drop. We are calling for highs near 90 on Thursday and only in the middle 80s on Friday. Our early look at next weekend suggests partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 80s.
