A Hot Humid Pattern into the Weekend

Overnight: Showers ending; warm and humid

Lows: 68-73 | Rain: Less than 5% area have thundershowers

Thursday: Sunny, Hot and Humid

Highs: 90-95 | Heat Index: 95-100

Friday: Sunny, Hot, Humid, Slight Risk T'storm West

Highs: Near 95 | Heat Index: Near 100

We've closed the book on the second hottest July and month in Washington weather records.  A hot August pattern ahead and the tropics are beginning to get active too.  By later in the weekend a weather front increases our risk of afternoon thunderstorms.  Overall most of the next few days will be sunny and hot but always a risk of some pop up afternoon thunderstorms especially out toward the mountains.  Keep cool, by late August the average high down to 85°
