Isaac continues to churn through the warm (85°) Gulf of Mexico and is an increasing threat to the Gulf Coast and especially New Orleans. Track the impacts by zip code here as I describe. A cool front now across Ohio will be near us by tomorrow morning and still a chance of some showers later tonight and into Tuesday morning. Behind the front less humid air will be over us for Wednesday into Thursday. Right now no sign of any significant impact on our weather into the weekend from anything left of Isaac. Storm surges and rains of over 1 foot are likely along the central Gulf coast. Isaac a very dangerous storm and still likely to become a hurricane before landfall late Tuesday or early Wednesday Tropical Prediction Center updates here
