An upper level disturbance will continue to move off to the north and east and will exit the region later this morning. At the same time a cold front will approach from the west and will slowly push through later in the day Saturday. After the rain this morning departs there will be a break before more widespread showers and storms develop along and ahead of the approaching cold front. There is a slight chance that some of the storms may become strong to severe. The main threats are damaging winds and potential localized flooding.
