D.C. Forecast: Unsettled but cooler today

A slow moving cold front will keep out weather unsettled today but also cooler with highs topping out in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees.

Monday: Lingering Showers Ending; Becoming Partly Sunny; A Couple PM Storms Possible

Highs: Upper 80s to Around 90 | Wind: WNW 5-10

Overnight: Clear To Partly Cloudy

Lows: Mid 60s To Low 70s | Wind: Light

Tuesday: Partly To Mostly Sunny

Highs: Near 90 | Wind: SE 5-10

A slow moving cold front will continue to push through the region today with lingering showers ending and clouds giving way to some sunshine as we head into the afternoon. There will still be a chance for a couple of shower or storms this afternoon but most should be isolated. High pressure will build into place Tuesday allowing for partly to mostly sunny skies with highs near 90 degrees. Wednesday and Thursday the threat of a couple PM storms will return to the forecast otherwise expect hot and humid conditions with highs around 90 degrees each day. Our next chance for more widespread rain will arrive Friday as a cold front approaches.
