It looks likely high temperatures will reach at least the 90 degree mark, if not higher, every day through Friday. Partly cloudy skies are forecast for the next few days. The chances of daily showers or thunderstorms break down like this. Isolated thunderstorms south of Washington today, a 20% chance area-wide tomorrow and a 30% chance on Thursday. On Friday, a cold will approach the area. Cloudy skies will develop by afternoon and chances for more widespread showers and thunderstorms will increase. There is a chance some of these storms could be severe.
