A slow moving cold front will continue to sink south of the region today and dew points will be somewhat lower. But, lagging upper-level energy will assist in thunderstorm development again this afternoon.

Ahead of that front, there is yet another chance for thunderstorms Friday afternoon with a few showers lingering into Saturday morning. Cooler temperatures are expected for Saturday and Sunday.
