The weekend ahead will see temperatures in the lower 90s each day. There will also be a chance for a few thunderstorms, with the highest likelihood in the mountains Saturday but closer in to the D.C. Metro Sunday. Also on Sunday, a few storms may be severe and a slight risk has already been placed over the region by the Storm Prediction Center. If you’re heading to the beaches this weekend, expect temperatures in the upper 80s each day with a slight chance for a few afternoon storms.
