What a great start to the work week with mostly sunny skies and continued low levels of humidity. Highs will be hot near the 90 degree mark under mostly sunny skies. Overnight, lows will fall back into the 60s in the suburbs to 70s in town. There will be a chance for a few showers in the early morning hours as a system approaches from the west. There is a better possibility for showers and storms tomorrow as a frontal system moves through. A few storms may become severe in the afternoon hours but otherwise expect partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 80s.
Wednesday will bring the chance for an isolated storm with highs again in the upper 80s. Thursday will be quiet and hot but changes will be likely for the weekend as a cold front pushes through Friday evening into Saturday morning. This is expected to cool temperatures back to the lower 80s Saturday and Sunday.
