A few showers and isolated thunderstorms may develop during the evening and early overnight hours. Temperatures will slowly fall into the 70s with patchy fog possible by early morning. Sunday brings a quiet start to the day as a cold front approaches from the northwest. As the front moves closer, the atmosphere will become less stable allowing for the potential for strong to severe storms. The front will slow just to the south of the D.C. area keeping unsettled weather in the forecast for Monday.
