A taste of Summer returns today as daytime highs push into the mid-90s under mostly sunny skies and breezy winds. Dew points have actually increased a bit more than we were thinking they would so it will be hot and a bit more humid today as well. A relatively weak cold front will drop into the region from the north and northwest while at the same time what is left of Isaac will begin to turn to the make the turn toward the mid-Atlantic. Saturday remains the pick of the weekend featuring partly cloudy skies and only a slight chance of an isolated thunderstorm. Sunday into early next week our weather will remain unsettled with mostly cloudy skies and a 40 to 50 percent chance of showers and storms.
