A cold front will remain south of the D.C. area during the overnight hours as temperatures dip to the upper 50s in the mountains to middle 60s closer to the Chesapeake Bay. The cold front is expected to lift northward Sunday bringing increased clouds and a chance for a few late afternoon showers. Monday appears to be cloudy with numerous showers and thunderstorms followed by a fantastic stretch of days starting Tuesday.
