A cold front is poised to move across the mid-Atlantic overnight bringing a quick shot of less humid air. A few lingering showers and isolated thunderstorms will dot radar for the next several hours.
The frontal system is expected to slow Monday keeping a chance for showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. By afternoon, drier air will start to filter into the region making it feel much more comfortable outside. Tuesday should get a gold star for having the best weather for the week. Lower humidity and dew point levels along with abundant sunshine. Hotter air and more humidity return Wednesday and continue into the upcoming weekend.
