The first two days of August have been hot with highs in the 90s both days.  A few storms developed East of the metro earlier during the afternoon, but have all diminished.  Mostly clear overnight with sunshine to start the day on Friday.  A few more pop up storms are possible late tomorrow afternoon, but nothing widespread. 

The weekend will be hot and humid with highs, both days, near 90 degrees.  A few late day storms will be possible both Saturday and Sunday, but a slightly greater risk late Sunday ahead of our next cool front.  Keep in mind, some storms could be severe.  You can always stay updated with our Live Super Doppler radar.
