Most of the storms today stayed well to the North and South of D.C. Overnight patchy fog will be possible, especially in areas where it rained. Otherwise warm and muggy to start the day on Wednesday. A few afternoon storms may fire up in the afternoon, but we are not expecting widespread, severe weather.
High pressure will build in late tomorrow and for Thursday. It will be hot for the next few days…Thursday will be the least humid. On Friday, humidity levels will increase ahead of the next cold front that will cross the area later Friday which could bring another round of heavy to possibly severe weather. Much cooler air…for this time of year…will arrive for the weekend.
