D.C. weather forecast: Unsettled Monday, clearing by late Tuesday

Scattered showers and isolated rumbles of thunder will stay in the forecast overnight and into Monday. Lows will fall into the middle 50s to lower 60s with patchy fog likely around sunrise. Keep the umbrella handy Monday as another round of energy is expected by afternoon. With thick cloud cover and showers, temperatures will struggle to make it out of the 70s. Slightly warmer air is on the way Tuesday with clearing by late afternoon.
