D.C. weather forecast: Unsettled overnight, some sun Sunday

An area of low pressure will move northward overnight bringing showers and thunderstorms. The heaviest rain is expected across the Delmarva.

Overnight: Cloudy, Showers and Thundershowers

Lows: 62°-73° | Wind: Northeast 10-15 mph

Sunday: Mostly Cloudy, Showers

Highs: 77°-82° | Wind: Southeast 5-10 mph

Monday: Partly Cloudy, Warm and Humid

Highs: 84°-89° | Wind: South 10-15 mph

Unsettled weather will remain during the overnight hours and into Sunday as an area of low pressure moves up the coast. Lows will fall into the 60s in the mountains to lower 70s closer toward the bay. Expect a little sun in the mountain Sunday with added clouds for the Delmarva beaches. Highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

A cold front arrives late Monday bringing a better chance for thunderstorms. The remnants of Isaac may impact parts of the mid-Atlantic later in the week.
