Temperatures will be on the increase as we round out the week with  chances of rain in the forecast over the Holiday weekend.

Thursday: Mostly Sunny; Comfortably Warm But Not Humid

Highs: 85-90 | Wind: Light Southerly

Overnight: Clear & Seasonably Cool

Lows: Low 60s To Around 70 | Wind: Light SSW

Friday: Mostly Sunny, Hot & Breezy; Still Not Too Humid

Highs: Around 90 To The Low 90s | Wind: SW 10-15 Gusts 20

High pressure will remain in control of our weather once again today before drifting off to the south overnight into Friday. Expect another beautiful day featuring mostly sunny skies, comfortably warm but not humid conditions with highs in the mid-80s to around 90 degrees. If you are heading out to the Nationals game tonight skies will be clear with temperatures in the 80s at the start of the game but dropping into the 70s before the end. Even though high pressure will be beginning to exit the region we will still enjoy mostly sunny skies, hot and breezy conditions with highs in the low to mid-90s. Humidity will remain in check and will still be rather low for this time of the year. There remains a good deal of uncertainty when it come to the forecast for the second half of the weekend and into early next week. A cold front will interact with what remains of Isaac during this time however the main issue is the timing of the remnants and the cold front. The forecast will continue to updated and adjusted as we get closer to the weekend and as weather guidance tries to get a better handle on the timing. Since it is a Holiday weekend I would definitely recommend checking back often for updates as we continue to fine tune the forecast.

~ Have a good day!
