When does the humidity break?

Overnight: Warm and Humid

Lows: 68-73 | Wind: Light

Thursday: Becoming Sunny, Hot and Humid

Highs: 89-94 | Heat Index: Near 95

Friday: Sunny, Hot and Humid Again, Slight Risk PM T'storm

Highs: 90-95 | Heat Index: Near 95

Thursday will still be hot and humid, but a bit more stable air will be over us, so any storms that do develop will be very scattered, that is cover less than 5% of the region.  Impossible to say where they might develop, but a bit more likely along the Blue Ridge where there is a bit more lift.  By and large, just another 90° day with high humidity.  As we get into the weekend, a cool front will sweep through and finally, by late Sunday and Monday, more "seasonable" less humid air will be over us.  Meanwhile a cluster of storms that had been part of Isaac has to be watched.  Will it become Nadine?  Read more.
