Just updated our severe risk blog. Another hot humid day with our high of 89°. Tomorrow a strong cold front swings through and with shear in the atmosphere and the very humid air over us, there is a risk of severe thunderstorms. Here is the latest. The front will rapidly move to the east Saturday night and by Sunday morning some spots will see temperatures fall into the 50s. Finally a big and extended break in the humidity that will continue into next week. We'll keep you posted tomorrow if severe weather does develop and I'll sure be Tweeting the latest.
